FutureCareNC - A Night at the Museum

FutureCareNC

On Monday evening, March 29th, FutureCare of North Carolina, will hold its inaugural fundraising event at the North Carolina Museum of History.

Exhibits at the museum, including the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame and Barbie....Simply Fabulous at 50!, will be open for invited guests. You will also have the opportunity to visit the museum store showcasing souvenirs, crafts and gifts reflecting North Carolina's unique heritage and traditions.  To learn more about the exhibits visit www.ncmuseumofhistory.org.

FutureCare is North Carolina's only not for profit educational and research foundation focusing exclusively on systems and technologies for the advancement of skilled nursing care.  Our current project, funded by a grant made possible through the Duke Endowment, utilizes a human simulator to conduct training for your entire nursing staff.

The simulator training is conducted by a registered nurse educator and uses customized clinical modules developed exclusively for our project by faculty at the UNC School of Nursing.   The fact that the training, is provided on site makes this one of the most innovative programs of its kind in the nation.  The response to this project has been overwhelmingly positive, and we are on schedule to complete our goal of conducting training in 40 buildings by the end of the year.  We look forward to embarking on other exciting projects in the years to come.

We need your help to sustain this very important work.  Not for profit research foundations are required to attract funding from a variety of individual and/or corporate sources to maintain their tax exempt status.  Please consider joining your friends and colleagues for a "Night at the Museum".
